For the significant progress we have made on the training, so far we have finished to set up the training venues in each region where can be easily for the church leaders to gather and learn as you may see some of the training venues we have set up and the church leaders team ready to be trained to train others in their regions.

Below is the Central region training venue and the church leaders team ready to be trained to train others in their regions.

Below are some of the training venues we have in Eastern region.

Below are some of the training venues we have in Western region

Below are some of the training venues we have in Southern region

Below are some of the training venues we have in Northern region

We shall have one site in the central region to receive the online study for those who will training out others on the suggested regional training venues because we wanted to set up accessible venues which can be easily at least for 10 to 20 church leaders to gather and learn to avoid the transportation and lodging challenge as rural area churches are scattered far from each other.

For the feeding challenge in training, we suggested that every leader who will be learning will contribute what he or she has of which some will bring food and fruits they grow as their contribution and others will bring chickens they lay as their contribution of which we will sell and print out the donated materials on papers so that after learning, everyone goes back with a copy to train other church leaders in his or her area as our target is to train those who can train others so that many church leaders get the theological training that our government requiring in order to stay serving God in Uganda Africa.

We had to look for the simple way of training rural areas and upcoming church leaders who cannot afford to attend Bible Colleges which are in place due to the high tuitions and academic education qualifications they demand which has resulted that many church leaders in rural areas and upcoming churches cannot afford to join those bible colleges despite the fact that they have churches they lead.

We have taken time to investigate and we found out that many rural areas and upcoming church leaders never acquire academic education qualifications at all levels has some attended schools to infant level and others to primary level which can qualify them to attend Bible colleges which is in place in our country.

Even their living conditions cannot allow them to join those bible colleges which is in place. The analysis states that 95 percent of rural areas church leaders are in extreme poverty. They earn one dollar or less per day which is not enough to support the work of the Lord they do and their families and in most cases they fail to pay school fees for their children. So far rural areas church leaders pastor a church of 20 – 30 low income members who fellowship in temporary shelters as you may see the attached pictures.

Others fellowship in houses with 5 – 10 members.

Others fellowship in tents with 8 – 10 members

Others fellowship under trees believing for the temporary shelters.

With such a congregation you see under a tree

Despite the fact that rural area churches are in isolated stages but they are doing the Lord work which we can’t allow the government of Uganda to close down due to lack of theological training qualifications.

Our government (of Uganda in Africa) is setting to implement a law to stop church leaders who are running churches without theological training qualifications according to the state minister who said that, the law to stop church leaders who are running churches without theological training qualifications is now in the advanced stage of formulation and the government Cabinet is expected to implement that law before this year ends.

I took a step to consult the government educational officer about what exactly our government (of Uganda) consider to be the basic Bible education, the kind of courses and level of academic education qualifications for the church leaders to earn a certificate and the government educational officer advised me to register first our Bible school because  if our Bible school is registered by the government of Uganda, our Bible school certificate will be recognized by the government as it will be from a register Bible school in Uganda.

About the academic education qualifications, he said our government doesn’t consider any level of education for the certificate level in theological training which is very interesting as we have church leaders who never gone to school and don’t even know how to write but only to read the Bible which is in our local language.

I consulted also about how long will the give government give us to before stopping church leaders who are running churches without theological training qualifications and the government educational officer told me that will happen before this year ends and he said that the government will permit church leaders who will be starting the theological training to continue operate as long as their theological training is going on and he advised us to register first our Bible school and start training our church leaders to avoid them to be stopped to operate.

The biggest development that I can share with you at this time concerning church leaders training challenge and the opening up of our Bible school. I have consulted the government minister’s office which is in charge of implementing the government law of stopping untrained church leaders, for when will they implement that law and he said that the law is now in the advanced stage of formulation and the government Cabinet is expected to implement that law before this year ends but he said that they will permit only church leaders who will be starting the theological training to continue operate as long as their theological training is going on and he advised us to register first our Bible school and start training our church leaders to avoid them to be stopped to operate.

To share the significant progress, we have made on the Bible school registration, so far we have covered 80% of the registration requirements and we’re just looking for the registration fee of which we’re still believing God to help us.

We shall have one site in the central region to receive the online study for the leaders who will training out others on the suggested regional training venues because we wanted to set up accessible venues which can be easily at least for 10 to 20 church leaders to gather and learn to avoid the transportation and lodging challenge as rural area churches are scattered far from each other.
